Xvivo - The Partners
David Bolinsky has been in the medical animation
business for two decades since his position as medical illustrator
for the Yale School of Medicine. He is considered one of medical
animation’s pioneers. Combining a Medical Illustration degree
with graduate work in Anatomy and Medical Sciences, David has
the unique ability to distill and translate complex medical information
into productions that are scientifically accurate as well as visually
compelling.
Michael Astrachan brings to animation a sophisticated
knowledge of naturalism, grounded in strong technique. His classical
training in oil painting forms a foundation for the rich textured
look of our work. Michael understands complex visual language;
his artful blending of disparate animation software and applications
enables him to streamline our production process and deliver the
highest quality work on schedule.
Perry Harovas has twelve years’ experience
in film and television that includes creating visual effects for
six feature films and directing 25-minute fully 3D animated children’s
television shows. He is also the co-author of “Mastering
Maya Complete 2” and the upcoming “Maya 4.5 Savvy”.
Perry’s cinematic signature is evident in all projects via
his combined skills in visual effects, directing, editing and
animation and unmatched technical knowledge of Maya.
David, Michael and Perry lead a talented team of animators who
run more than 30 computer processors.
