CS 207 F2P – Automatic cleaning and drying machine
for tabletting punches and dies
Patented automatic cleaning machine CS 207-F2P.

Cleaning of punches and dies used in pharmaceutical
process environments is critical especially when sustained-release
products or timed-release products are involved.
Validation protocols vary from manufacturer to manufacturer,
and flexibility, reliability as well as safety for operators and
the environment become very important concerns.
Model CS 207-F2P cleaning machine is a compact, innovative
system designed to enable thorough cleaning of complete sets of
punches and dies, delivering highly effective results in terms of
quality, productivity and repeatability. The system is engineered
to comply with the most demanding cleaning protocols.
MAIN FEATURES
Single stage machine with sealed cover. Parts to be
cleaned do not need handling through different tanks or stations.
Loading capacity of machine for each cleaning cycle
allows a complete set of standard (3/4 and 1 inch diameter) upper
and lower punches and related dies to be cleaned and dried. Different
arrangements are available for special sizes.
Operator is never exposed directly or indirectly
to the cleaning chemical or its vapors.
A new self-moving nozzle manifold enhances the cleaning
operation. Through a pneumatic actuated linear drive, the parts
to be cleaned are completely and effectively sprayed from top, side
and underneath so that parts geometry does not influence the cleaning
performance. Knife-shaped spray nozzles are employed that have an
extremely effective pressure action.
Machine can be extended with an auxiliary module equipped
for special applications, like high pressure spraying, preservative
oil, etc.
CS 207-F2P series machine operates with water-based
detergents, automatically metered according to set values to be
determined with reference to characteristics of contamination and
of chemical as well.
Process is automatically controlled by PLC and operator
involvement is restricted to loading and unloading of punches and
dies. The advanced touch-screen operator interface allows easy operation
and selection of up to six cleaning cycles, together with features
to assist in maintenance and diagnostics.
A typical complete cleaning and drying cycle is performed
in 25 minutes and includes a cold phase and a warm phase to decrease
the risk of polymerization of pharmaceutical or other active substances.
The machine is 1500 mm wide, 1310 mm deep and stands
1350 mm high. Constructed from stainless steel, the unit requires
an electrical supply of 400 V 3 phase 50 Hz, and compressed air
at about 6 bar.

TS
207 Blister packs sealing test equipment;
TS207 - leak testing of blister packages used extensively in the
pharmaceutical, medical and food industries.

General Features
TS 207 test system enables blister packs to be leak
tested for material and seal integrity. The machine is designed
with careful consideration of ergonomics and ease of working for
operators, combining high productivity with key health and safety
features.
Benefits include:
HIGH SENSITIVITY - detect up to 15
microns holes in 15mm pockets, depending on the degree of vacuum
employed.
EASY TO USE - the equipment is PLC
controlled and operator friendly.
INSTALLATION IN THE MANUFACTURING AREA
- no special installation required. Reduces need for handling of
blister packs from manufacturing area to the test machine;
CONSISTENT TEST PROCEDURE –
automated testing procedure removes the subjective nature of manual
operations.
NON DESTRUCTIVE - Test procedure
allows non-defective blister packs to be recycled.
COST EFFECTIVE - TS 207 provides
a cost-effective investment and has very low operating costs.
