Specs - The Company

Specs, founded in 1987, provides chemistry and chemistry related services that are required in drug discovery.

Specs is one of the world's leading suppliers of screening compounds and research chemicals (like Building Blocks and Natural Products) to the Life Science industry.

The chemically diverse in-house collection, consisting of single synthesized, well-characterized and drug-like small molecules, has been built through global acquisition programs utilizing a network of more than 2,000 academic sources worldwide. Each month, 5,000 to 10,000 carefully selected novel compounds from all corners of the globe are added to the dynamic collection.

In addition to providing high quality and novel compounds for High Throughput Screening (HTS), Specs offers a wide range of services such as cheminformatics, custom synthesis, contract research, library management and compound sourcing.

These global activities are managed from the headquarters in Delft, The Netherlands, supported by regional offices and representatives in North America, Japan, India and China.
