Rodwell Scientific Instruments – Autoclaves designed for
the future and built to last
An autoclave is one of the most essential items of equipment,
without which a modern laboratory cannot function efficiency.
It is essential that freshly prepared media and instruments are
readily available in order that work can be carried out to the
exacting standards that the modern laboratory demands. It is also
essential that waste is thoroughly sterilised before it is disposed
of. Therefore, before investing in an autoclave, it may be wise

Rodwell Scientific Instruments offer autoclave packages that
are supplied almost ready for immediate use. All that is required
is an electricity supply, drain line and mains water supply (autofill
models only). The unique MP 24 command control panel is clear,
concise, easy to use and common to all models.
Rodwell Autoclaves are designed in accordance with BS2646 part
1 and EN61919-2-41 1996. The chamber and door are constructed
using the highest quality stainless steel (BS 1501-321 S31 or
BS 1501-316 S31) and the control circuits are low voltage and
well insulated for safety and reliability. All are designed and
built to BS5500 Cat 3.
Various door closure systems are available from simple bolt closures
to powered door systems.
Autoclaves are regularly manufactured in double door variants
for category three laboratories.
