Group. Our technical fabric specialists, through research and
partnerships, provide creative fabric solutions to meet the specific
requirements of a business or industry. Working in close cooperation
with our customers, we’ve created a wide array of performance
fabrics for numerous specialty markets. It is this unique relationship
with our customers, the give and take, which allows us to thrive.
It is the most important element of our business. Combine it with
an Edisonian-like approach to research and you have a formula
for true innovation.
Our research and development team, in anticipation of the needs
of the marketplace, is continually experimenting, refining manufacturing
methods, and testing products. This gives us the ability to create
new products and provide creative solutions for our customers.
Precision Fabrics Group was started as a division of Burlington
Industries, one of the world’s largest softgoods manufacturers.
But in 1988, we became an independently owned company- a company
that focuses on using leading edge technology to produce high-performance,
high-quality fabrics for those industries which require the most
technically demanding products. Our corporate headquarters is
located in Greensboro, North Carolina, and we have manufacturing
facilities in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. These plants
produce fabrics for the aerospace, aeronautical, medical, industrial,
government, and consumer industries. But no matter which plant
or office you’re dealing with at Precision Fabrics, we have
a common mission: To expand our business by manufacturing, providing,
and marketing value-added textile products that are innovative
and, of course, solve the most challenging of technical problems.
