MNL’s Phytoquest® process ensures that its
exceptional Phytopure library provides unique access to pure,
novel, drug-like compounds, that are structurally and stereochemically
diverse. This approach to natural product compound discovery has
been specifically designed to overcome the difficulties previously
experienced by the Pharmaceutical industry when working with natural
product extracts.
MNL also produces a highly purified fractions library, each fraction
typically containing between one to four major components.
MNL’s libraries complement synthetic libraries, but have
the additional advantage of natural selection for biological activity.
All compounds entered into the Phytopure library are strictly
quality controlled using HPLC-PDA-ELS-MS, or GC-MS, and NMR. By
comparison with its unique proprietary databases, along with commercial
databases, MNL excludes commercially available compounds and common
plant metabolites from its library.
MNL’s libraries are available to the Pharmaceutical/Biotech
and other industries, to screen against their targets and are
supplied ready for screening, normally in 96-well micro-titre
plates, formatted as requested.
