- Intel® Itanium® 2: Up to four 64-bit Itanium2 processors
in a 2U or 4U configuration with up to 32 GB of shared memory,
plus hot-swappable hard drives, processors and power supplies.
- AMD Athlon™ MP: Dual Athlon MP processors provide inexpensive
and scalable processing power for life sciences applications.
- AMD Opteron™: AMD’s newest technology for 64-bit
computing with Hypertransport technology for low latency, high-speed
communication between processors and external peripherals. Will
run both 64-bit and existing 32-bit applications.
- Alpha: Dual 833 MHz Alpha configurations with redundant power,
large caches, and up to 4GB of memory. Runs Linux and Tru64
UNIX applications.

Microway’s data storage solutions range from entry-level
RAID or NAS combined with highly available clustering software,

HIGH SPEED CLUSTER INTERCONNECTS
Microway offers a variety of high-speed, ultra low latency cluster
interconnects where bandwidth and message passing are critical
factors in solving complex problems. Products include Myrinet
from Myricom and a family of InfiniBand-based switches for very
high port count or high data rate requirements.
REMOTE CLUSTER MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT TOOLS
Monitor and control clusters remotely via Microway’s secure
web-based GUI. NodeWatch™ hardware and MCMS™ cluster
management software report on temperatures, voltages, and chassis
fans, and let you set thresholds for notification and/or failsafe
shutdown if problems occur.
