The human is the biggest source of particles in the cleanroom.
Per minute he leaves 2.5 million particles. That is why cleanroom
clothing is essential in order to safely protect your products
from contamination produced by people.
A cleanroom must be free from dust, micro-organisms, particles
and electrostatics. As there is no absolute particle purity, the
permitted number of particles is defined by the cleanroom class.
The product being produced will define the necessary demands
on the cleanroom, our work is always based on the tightest cleanroom
class – it is our quality standard.
To have a constant barrier against particles, the cleanroom
clothes have to be decontaminated regularly. We will collect the
used clothing from you, get it into our special cleanrooms and
have it ready for use again.
First the used clothing will be searched for damages or contamination/dirt……..after
that it will get washed in special washing machines. The final
step involves the clothes being decontaminated by a patented (By
Micronclean) and validated procedure.
Before you take your clean and decontaminated cleanroom clothing
back, we take a random sample and check it. All in all we are
much stricter than the valid cleanroom norm (ASTM F 51-68).
We can reach much better results with our decontamination process.
For quick-time-checks we use a laser-particle-counter that was
developed with our co-operation. This is a much more exact procedure
than the norm suggested optical counting procedures.
Hard- and software are available for batch documentation and
enable the validated process to be traced.
Micronclean guarantees its customers the safety and quality
levels that are specified, for example, by the extremely demanding
US FDA standards by applying these and many other rules, that
are defined in process and work instructions as part of the DIN
EN ISO 9001 system.
