XL 400 Bi-Layer
The proven XL400 Tablet Press is now avaible in a bi-layer
configuration. In combination with an exchangeable turret
and a single layer conversion kit, this machine offers unprecedented
versatility for bi-layer development and production.
|
 |
XL 200
The latest in the new and innovative XL-Series from KORSCH,
the XL 200 is the optimal machine for product scale-up, clinical
trials, and small-scale production. The XL 200 offers the
patented and proven design features of the XL 400 machine
- and provides an extreme degree of flexibility and capability
in a scale-up machine.
|
 |
XL 100
The XL 100 model completes the R&D entry of the innovative
KORSCH XL-Series. The XL 100 is the ideal rotary press for
small batch production. A combination of superior GMP design,
and extreme flexibility - the XL 100 redefines small-scale
capability and offers the optimal solution for product development.
|
 |
PH 300/800
The long proven PH series machines produce single and bi
layer tablets. This standard high reliable 4 column tablet
presses are price attractive and comply to GMP regulations.
|
Technical Rotary Presses
The Technical Rotary Presses are extremely
robust and stable machines for industrial three-shift operation.
|
 |
KORSCH TRP 700/900
|
| |
The KORSCH TRP 700/900 is a single, bi-layer, tri-layer,
or five-layer technical rotary press which is intended for
processing applications that require deep filling depths and
higher compression forces.
The TRP 700/900 design incorporates corrosion resistant construction
for applications involving salt, chlorine, soaps, detergents
and other similar products. The TRP 700/900 has been extremly
effective in the production of these types of products, and
offers a rugged and proven design, that can provide minimal
cleaning and changeover times.
For North America, the TRP 700/900 is equipped with an ALLEN-BRADLEY
PLC based contron system, and can be equipped with an optional
in a remote cabinet, which requires only minimal space in
the compression room. The touch screen environment features
a WonderWare configuration running on a Windows NT platform.

Eccentric Presses
The KORSCH Eccentric Presses have proven to
be successful world-wide for Research & Development and
for industrial operation.
|
 |
EK 0 / DMS
|
| |
The EK-0 is the world famous smallest eccentric press and is the most successful
laboratory press in the world. On this machine you can produce
fully automated tablets with a diameter up to 20 mm, the max.
filling depth is 20 mm, the max. compression force 30 kN and
the number of strokes is stepless adjustable from 5 - 60 RPM.
|
Special Presses
Besides the standard presses, KORSCH also manufactures
Special Machines for difficult products.
|
 |
Slip-Fit SLF 500/600
For many years KORSCH has been delivering technical high
speed double rotary presses from the TRP-series to manufacturers
of batteries. The production of ring cathodes for Alkaline
Batteries is done on these presses in 3-shift operation.
Working close together with leading battery manufacturers
KORSCH has now built the first completely automated production
line for preassembly of round alkaline batteries. The assembly
of the ring cathodes is done according to a completely new
futuristic procedure.
|
 |
Twist
During this procedure the compression tools are turned reverse
below or shortly after the main compression roller. Due to
the short turn under pressure, the material which is sticking
to the punch face is loosened from the surface and pushed
back to the tablet surface.
The TWIST-function has proven well with the following products:
- Diagnostic-tablets
- Effervescent tablets
- Detergent tablets

PMA 3
The concept of the PMA 3 is based on the summary of the data
acquisition and analysis systems developed in the past (PMA1
and PMA 2). The PMA 3 has been developed to acquire compression
forces and punch displacement on tablet presses.

Data Acquisition & Control Equipment
This peripheral equipment is an ideal supplement
for machine control and supervision as well as for data logging
and data analysis.

Pharmacheck 1
Fully automatic weighing system for acquisition of tablet
weight mean and single values from tablets coming from rotary
presses. In connection with the electronic regulation system
Pharmakontroll 3plus/3iplus the weight regulation is not only
possible via compression forces, but also via real tablet
weight measurement.
|
 |
Pharmacheck 3plus
Fully automatic control system for the acquisiton of mean
and single values of the tablet weight, tablet height and
tablet hardness on rotary tableting machines. In conjunction
with the electronic control system PHK 3i Plus connection
is being made to the tableting machine in order to perform
the compression force control and control by height or hardness.
The PHC 3 Plus is equipped with an own programmable logic
controller (PLC) for the internal control. The system control
itself is made by the PHK 3i Plus.
|
 |
Pharmakontroll
The well known system PHARMAKONTROLL system from KORSCH has
proven successfull worldwide for control, regulation and process
control with tablet presses. Still, KORSCH is constantly eager
to further develop our system and to implement new techniques
and use our experience so that our customers gain optimal
use out of the equipment.
