IPSA Case Study. IPSA was retained by a large pharmaceutical
company to assist in an investigation of two attacks against animal
testing laboratories in the U.S. IPSA’s efforts included
liaison contact with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
and local law enforcement officials as well as investigators specializing
in the investigation of animal rights activist activity.

IPSA Case Study: IPSA was retained by a pharmaceutical firm
to conduct an in-depth investigation of a competitor suspected
of having mounted an aggressive intelligence gathering operation
against it. IPSA’s client was concerned about the security
of certain of its proprietary information and requested IPSA’s
assistance in determining if there had been a security breach
and to conduct an investigation in order to identify the parties
responsible for the security breaches and the collection methods
they employed. IPSA conducted extensive investigative research
and analysis, including interviews with certain executives, key
personnel and the client’s industry intelligence resources.
Following the investigation, IPSA was requested to develop a successful
comprehensive program designed to address all known collection
methods and the corresponding investigative response for each. The
