The application of genotyping within clinical trials has become an invaluable
tool in the clinical trial process, it has enhanced the
quality of pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics data and
potentially increased safety in Phase I studies.

genotyping tests for any single nucleotide polymorphism
(SNP)

Using a single drop of blood dried on to a SAFEspot card, DxS can routinely
perform up to 200 separate SNP analyses. A sample on SAFEspot
is also stable and sterile which means that shipping is
simplified and long term storage is available at room temperature.

This is a worldwide alliance of laboratories
able to reproduce a pharmacogenomic assay on an international
basis. The Genetwork is coordinated from single site in the
UK, which takes responsibility for recruitment, training and
auditing of the Genetwork partner laboratories.
DxS works in partnership with the pharmaceutical associate,
it provides a cost effective and focused approach to the delivery
of genetic information to allow the selection of patients
to respond well to a particular therapy. |
