It is designed for the visual indication of low differential pressures which occur in cleanrooms. Widely used by major pharmaceutical manufacturers, it is useful as a back-up to more sophisticated measuring instrumentation. The major advantage of the PressureWatch is that there is nothing to malfunction, so it keeps on working whilst other equipment is being repaired, serviced or calibrated. It is widely incorporated into the design of new clean room installations. The PressureWatch unit was originally developed by Haden Young Limited in response to requests for a highly visible indicator to confirm the satisfactory working of pressurised room systems.
