Packaging Technologies, Inc. is an award-winning manufacturer
of patented, inflatable air cushion packaging which provides superior
protection for the shipment of fragile and high-value products.
The Company’s patented design is a “bag within a
“bag” - an inner flat pouch suspended within a larger
air-filled bag. When fully inflated, the inner pouch conforms
to the shape of the object, while the outer pouch forms a protective
air cushion, effectively suspending the item in cushion of air,
providing superior protection against damage from shock and vibration.
The Company’s packaging solutions offer alternatives to
conventional packaging such as foam, polystyrene peanuts and bubble
wrap. Its products provide proven safe transportation for the
shipment of products sensitive to physical damage and electrostatic
discharge.

Air Packaging has entered into a sales agreement with Minnesota
Mining & Manufacturing (3M) under which 3M’s Packaging
System Division is marketing and selling the Company’s packaging
products to the industrial protective packaging market worldwide
under the name 3M ™ Air Cushion Packaging.
